Installing

Install Email Protector as a Joomla package through System > Install > Extensions, either with Install from Web or by uploading the downloaded package file. You can also install it through Regular Labs Extension Manager.

Updating

Install the new package over the existing installation, use Joomla's updater, or use Regular Labs Extension Manager. You do not need to uninstall first; a normal update preserves the extension settings.

Uninstalling

  1. Open System > Manage > Extensions.
  2. Search for Email Protector.
  3. Select the Email Protector package, not one of its child plugins, modules, components, or libraries.
  4. Choose Uninstall and confirm.

Regular Labs Extension Manager can also uninstall installed Regular Labs extensions other than Extension Manager itself.

Note: Uninstalling removes the extension and its stored configuration.

Minimum Requirements

  • Up-to-date version of Joomla:
    • Joomla 4
    • Joomla 5
    • Joomla 6
  • PHP 8.2 or higher
  • MySQL - use a version supported by your Joomla version
