Advanced Module Manager uses the options below. Labels and descriptions follow the current English extension language strings. Rows marked as Pro are editable only in the Pro edition; Free either omits the control or keeps its documented fixed value.

| Show Switch | Select to show the link to switch to the Joomla core module manager (and back). Options: No, Yes |
| Show Update Notification | If selected, an update notification will be shown in the main component view when there is a new version for this extension. Options: No, Yes |
| Show Copyright | Show extra copyright information in administrator views. Free keeps this enabled; Pro can switch it off. This never adds frontend backlinks. Options: Yes (fixed in Free), No or Yes PRO |

| Enable HTML before/after | Enable to show the HTML before/after fields in the module edit view. Free keeps these fields unavailable; Pro can enable them. Options: No, Yes Pro only. |
| Enable 'Hide if empty' | Enable to show the 'Hide if empty' option Options: No, Yes |
| Enable Extra Fields | Enable to show the custom extra fields. You can define the labels of these fields. If no label is given, the field will not be shown. The saved values can be used in the module chromes via values extra1-5: $params->get('extra1') Options: No, Yes Pro only. |
| Label | Define the label of the extra field. Leave empty to hide. To give the label a tooltip, enter the text after a bar sign, like: My Label|The description of this label Pro only. |
| Show Description | Select where to show the optional short description in the module list view. Options: No, Tooltip, Name Column, Extra Column |
| Enable Notes Tab | Select to show an extra notes tab. Options: No, Yes |
Tag Syntax
When remove tags are enabled, use syntax such as {remove-modules positions="position-7"}.
| Enable {remove} Tags | Select to enable the special {remove} plugin tags. Options: No, Yes Pro only. |
| Remove Modules Tag | The word used for the Remove Modules tag. By default this is 'remove-modules'. So the full tag looks like: {remove-modules module="My Module"} Pro only. |
| Tag Characters | The surrounding characters of the tag syntax. Note: If you change this, all existing tags will not work anymore. Options: {...}, [...], «...», {{...}}, [[...]], [:...:], [%...%] Pro only. |

| Colours | A comma separated list of RGB colours to show in the colour picker. |
| Disabled Rule Types | Select the rule types you do NOT want to be available to use in the conditions. Rule types you select will no longer show up, and will stop working on conditions that already use them. |
User Actions Logs
| Log User Actions | Select to store User Actions. These actions will be visible in the User Actions Log module. Options: No, Yes |
| Events To Log | Select the actions to include in the User Actions Log. Options: Create, Update, Delete, Change Publish State |
